EC to undertake exhibition of voters register

The Electoral Commission will undertake an exhibition of the voters  register to enable first time voters and all who have turned 18 to be registered. 

The exhibition will also afford the electorates the opportunity to affirm their registration details and also  serve as a window to delete names of persons on the voters register who are  dead or deemed to be unqualified. 

The move is to clean the register to ensure greater credibility in this year’s general elections. 

The Commission Member in charge of the Upper West Region, Hajia Sadia Sahadatu Maiga, stated this at a capacity building for media practitioners at Wa.
