Two persons arrested in Kumasi for alleged examination malpractices in on-going WASSCE Two persons have been arrested in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region for allegedly indulging in examination malpractices in the ongoing West African Secondary School Certificate Examination, WASSCE. The two are a 24-year old Esther Boakyewaa, an English Literature Teacher and Priscilla Brefo Adu, a Home Economics student who is also a candidate in the WASSCE. The two are from the Ascension Senior High School, a private second cycle school located at Sawua Junction near Kumasi. Our Correspondent, Nicholas Osei-Wusu reports that the Police together with WAEC officials in Kumasi are on the heels of the Headmaster of the Ascension SHS and another Teacher known as Collins said to be very instrumental in the malpractice.
