Green light given to Avram Grant to monitor players outside Ghana The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has given the green light to the Black Stars head coach Avram Grant to monitor players in Europe over the next few weeks. Grant, left the shores of Ghana for Europe last night, following an approval from the GFA, to continue with his plans of making the senior national team stronger. “With most of the leagues in Europe drawing to a close, the next few weeks offer the perfect opportunity for the Black Stars coach to monitor some players on the periphery of the squad before the season ends,“ according to a press release the GFA. The coach was given the permission to continue his player monitoring programme both abroad and home to create competition and invigorate the Black Stars squad. Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu will continue with the monitoring of the local league for the benefit of the technical team of the senior national team whiles grant is away. Grant, on his return to Ghana will focus on monitoring the local league for new talents while supporting the activities of the other national teams. GNA
