Mental Health Expert condemns stigmatisation of patients

The Greater Accra Regional Mental Health Coordinator, Etornam Gblende says the high level of stigmatization of mental patients is undermining the effort of mental healthcare professionals. 

He said the deliberate act of neglecting or discriminating against persons with mental health disorders is a crime and a punishable offence under the Mental Health Law, Act 846.
