Shun Modernity – Assembly Member The Assembly member for the Atomfourso Electoral area near Seikwa in the Tain District of Brong Ahafo, Nana Kwame Ansu has asked Presbyterians not to allow modernity to destroy the disciplinary conduct that the church has been associated with over the years. Speaking at a forum organized by the local council of churches to entertain and educate themselves on how to coexist as one body in Christ at Atomfourso, Nana Ansu asked the church to unite and stand behind him as he initiates programmes to better their lots. The churches are the Presbyterian and Catholic churches from Degedege. The Chief of Atomfourso Nana Ekye Nsowah-Adjei asked the people to respect nature by avoiding tree cutting for charcoal production. He said the recent destruction of more than 30 houses and displacing three residents at Atomfourso during rainstorm, was as a result of unwanted destruction of the environment. Nana Ekye Nsowah-Adjei said rainfall pattern has changed reminding the people that climate change is real. GBC
