Add Judicial Service to essential services -Labour Minister

The Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Haruna Iddrisu, has proposed the Judicial Service is designated on an essential service to bar the staff from embarking on strikes in future.  

The Minister said it is important to recognise that their work contributes to the effective delivery of justice in the country.  

Mr Haruna made the remarks in Accra during a meeting with the National Executive Council of the Judicial Service Staff Association, JUSAG following their nationwide strike.
