The Daily Graphic says agriculture has become unattractive that aged farmers are the only people left to till the land to feed the country. The paper appeals to all to engage in the discourse on the way forward with open minds and give praise where it is due and criticize constructively. The Graphic says no matter the circumstances Ghanaians owe it to themselves and generation to come to produce more to feed themselves. Adding that there is the need to bond and put the nation first in all endeavours.
 
The Ghanaian Times is concerned that inspite of efforts to rid the country of the practice, early marriage still persists. The paper says, it is aware that in the urban poor areas, some unscrupulous men take advantage of poor and vulnerable children, while some parents also encourage their wards to indulge in activities that lead to early pregnancy. The paper urges the security agencies as well as health authorities to collaborate to arrest and punish adults who put teenagers in the family way. They must also educate teenage girls to stay away from sex no matter the circumstances.
