AMA cleans drainage systems in Accra in anticipation for rainy season

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly has began work to clean the drainage system in the city in anticipation of the rainy season.  

The Chief Executive for the AMA, Dr. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije who inspected work on some major drainage systems in Accra said the move is to prevent a repetition of the June 3 disaster that took the lives of scores of people.
