Teacher Unions & Gov't To Continue Dialogue Over Unpaid Salaries Today Teacher Unions and government will meet again today Tuesday, February 23, 2016, to finalise issues regarding the non payment of salaries to a section of teachers. A meeting held on Monday was inconclusive. Speaking on Radio Ghana's Current Affairs Program, "Behind the News", the PRO of GES, Rev. Jonathan Bettey said he expects a conclusion on the matter today to avert any possible industrial action. The General Secretary of GNAT, David Ofori Acheampong on the other hand said he expects all issues to be discussed including the payment of arrears owed the teachers. According to him, all what is important to them is government commitment to settle amounts owed to them and the way forward. GBC
