Court dismisses Dr, Zanetor's application


An Accra High Court on Monday, February 22 dismissed an application brought before it by Dr Zanetor Rawlings.  

Dr. Zanetor prayed the court for a suit against her parliamentary candidature to be thrown out.

The incumbent Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle Constituency, Nii Armah Ashietey, filed the suit to to declare the daughter of former President Jerry John Rawlings unfit to represent the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2016 elections.
