Ivor Greenstreet calls for unity within CPP The Presidential candidate of the Convention People’s Party, CPP, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, has appealed to the rank and file of the party to close their ranks and help the party to win the November election. He said after trying both the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to no avail, the time had come for the CPP to take its rightful place in the governance of the country. He said Ghana needs an alternative government, a government of sincerity and honesty and that is what the CPP stands for. Mr Greenstreet said this when he addressed the media during his “Thank You Tour” in the Ashanti Region. Mr Greenstreet said Ghanaians are not happy with the kind of governance they are seeing in their leaders and the CPP is ready to offer the needed change. According to him, all Ghanaians deserve equal opportunity to the wealth of the nation and a CPP government with its track record will ensure equal development across the country to bring an end to the rural urban migration.
