Kintampo Crash: President Mahama consoles bereaved families 

President John Dramani Mahama has expressed grave concern about the accident that occurred last night (February 17) on the Kintampo-Tamale road, killing more than 50 people.  

President Mahama in a series of tweets hours after the accident consoled the families of the departed souls. 

President Mahama in a tweet said "he received the sad news of an accident involving the Metro Mass Transit Bus on the Kintampo Tamale road. Condolences to those who have lost loved ones."
