UN chief Ban Ki-Moon eulogizes Boutros-Ghali

The UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, has lauded Boutros-Ghali as a memorable leader who rendered invaluable services to world peace and international order.  

He noted that Boutros-Ghali stepped into the international scene during a time when the world increasingly turned to the UN for solutions to its problems in the immediate aftermath of the Cold War.
