The Ghanaian Times expresses worry over the arrest of 17 persons and the seizure of 204 bags of Indian hemp from residents at Apewosika in the Central Region. The Paper says it is shocked at the sheer number of suspects arrested in the Community in a single swoop last Friday dawn. It says the suspects who are originally known to be farmers have taken to the cultivation of Indian hemp for commercial gains. The Time says illicit drugs is currently gaining grounds in most farming Communities because of high incomes that they derive. The Paper believes the arrest of the suspect is just the tip of the iceberg and commends the security agencies for the arrest. 

The Daily Heritage consoles the family, friends and the nation at a large on the death of the MP for Abuakwa North, J.B Danquah Adu. The paper urges the bereaved family to find solace in the words of God and take heart as they mark the one week observation of the MP's death. The Heritage is happy that the alleged killer has been grabbed.
