Boko Haram Extremists Killed in Nigeria Cameroon's government says its soldiers have retaken Nigeria's northeastern town of Goshi from Boko Haram. Reports say Cameroon's special forces also freed about 100 people including Cameroonians and Nigerians being held by the extremist. Two members of Cameroon's military were also killed. The three-day operation destroyed several bomb factories and two training centers in the former Boko Haram stronghold with soldiers seizing weapons, vehicles and ammunition. NEWS24
