Ghana To Face Severe Water Crisis Unless Volta Basin Is Protected The CEO of the Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA), Charles Abugri, says the water crisis in the country could get worse if steps are not taken to protect the Volta basin. He said the fortunes of the nation are directly connected to the survival of the Black and White Volta, which are a source of electricity, water for farming and domestic consumption for millions of Ghanaians. Mr Charles Abugri was speaking at a two day knowledge sharing fair organised by SADA and the International Water Management Institute in Tamale. GBC
