The Daily Graphic pleads with the taskforces that have been formed to check illegal activities that destroy the environment to be consistent in restraining the perpetrators from engaging in further destruction. The Paper says Ghanaians are digging their own graves through irresponsible over exploitation of water and natural resources if they continue to look on without acting to stop the trend. The Daily Graphic urges government to adequately resource the taskforces, so that they do not use the lack of logistics as an excuse not to be proactive in the duties assigned to them. 

The Ghanaian Times is shocked and grieves at the death of the MP for Abuakwa North, saying his death exposes the vulnerability of everyone as no one is safe anymore. The Paper says that the country is recording too many mysterious assassinations and J.B. Danquah`s death must not become one of the many unresolved assassinations. The Times prays that the police would be allowed to do their job professionally, without any recourse to the needless politicisation.
