GNFS directs Regional Commanders to liaise with authorities of SHS to conduct fire safety audits

The Ghana National Fire Service has directed all Regional Commanders to liaise with authorities of Second Cycle Schools to conduct fire safety audits with immediate effect.  

They are to also educate the schools on fire safety measures in order to prevent avoidable fires. 

Deputy PRO of the Service, Prince Billy Anaglatey who spoke to Radio Ghana said the directive follows the severe harmattan that has led to the outbreak of fires in five second cycle schools in parts of the country.
