Pneumococca Meningitis: Tema on standby to handle outbreak

The Medical Director of the Tema General Hospital, Dr. Kwabena Opoku-Adusei says the Hospital is ready, should any case of pneumococcal meningitis be reported.  

According to him, the Hospital has trained personnel to take care of any eventuality, because such cases are not new to the Hospital. 

Asked if the hospital is prepared to use the Ebola Centre to cater for any outbreak of pneumococcal meningitis, this is how he responded.
