Collection Of TV Licence Begins Saturday Despite Law Suit Against It The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation GBC is set to begin the collection of the revised TV Licence from tomorrow Saturday despite the law suit filed by former VRA CEO, Dr Charles Wereko-Brobbey. The founder of the now defunct Radio Eye is in court challenging the decision by the GBC and other stakeholders to share the proceeds from the TV licence to some other agencies apart from the corporation. He is also seeking to restrain GBC from starting the collection from Saturday until the final determination of the matter. But Director General of the GBC said the corporation has not been served with any injunction notice apart from the writ. Major Don-Chebe however declined to comment on the substantive case. GBC
