THE DAILY GRAPHIC : appeals to government to take quick steps to resolve the issues concerning the withdrawal of services at OPDs by Medical Doctors before the strike gets rooted in all public health institutions.  According to the paper the country seem to experience a vicious cycle of strikes by the GMA and the recurrent of the phenomenon takes a heavy toll on innocent lives.  The Graphic is of the opinion that no matter how we see it, the effects of these strikes on the population and the nation's  purse are grave.  The Daily Graphic also appeals to doctors that since negotiations are a give-and-take affair, they should be cautious of their stance, so as to save precious lives.                              
                                    
THE GHANAIANS TIMES : also appeals to the Ghana Medical Association, GMA to re-consider its position appealing to the members to go back to the negotiation table to iron out their differences.  According to  the Times, the quest for better conditions of service should not in any way end in disagreement and result in unnecessary loss of lives. The paper says even though doctors in the public system are skilled and work hard for long hours, their demand  for better service conditions must not exceed the national coffers.
