Christian Council calls for strict gun control laws The Christian Council of Ghana has called for a review of the country’s gun control laws. The call follows the conviction of the 36-year-old man Charles Antwi who was arrested with a gun at the Ring road Assemblies of God Church where the President and the Chief Justice fellowship. Antwi has since been sentenced to ten years in prison. But, the General Secretary of the Christian Council of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Kwabena Opuni Frimpong, said the situation calls for a review of the country’s gun control laws to ensure public safety. GBC
