Group opposes Plant Breeders Bill

Agriculture Sovereignty Ghana has called for opposition to the Plant Breeders Bill, PBB, which it describes as inimical to the sovereignty of Ghana, as well as a threat to the country's food security. 

A member of the group, Raymond Okrofu, told newsmen in Accra that, the bill only promotes foreign agro-business and stifles the operations of local breeders and farmers.
