Three-Storey Building Collapses In Accra

A three storey building under construction at Cantonments in Accra has collapsed killing an unknown number of workers including the owner of the building. 

About 23 workers are believed to have been working on the building when it collapsed. Others are said to be trapped underneath the rubble and are screaming for help. 

The collapsed building is behind the new free zones office and not the Presidential residence as being speculated in the media. 

Reports say, frantic efforts are being made to rescue the trapped workers by  officials from the Police and fire service.
