Committee to implement 2nd phase of SSPP inaugurated

The Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Haruna Iddrisu, has inaugurated a 14-member committee to implement the 10-point recommendation for the second phase of the Single Spine Pay Policy-SSPP. 

The committee forms part of the recommendations of the 2nd National Forum on sustaining the SSPP, held in Takoradi last May. 

The committee is under the chairmanship of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, George Smith Graham. Members of the Committee include; Representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Controller and Accountant General and the Chairperson of the Public Services Commission.

Briefing the media after the inauguration, the CEO of the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, George Smith Graham, spelt out the terms of the 10 point recommendation.
