NMC Chairman Advocates Peace Journalism To Enhance National Cohesion The Chairman of the National Media Commission (NMC), Kabral Blay Amihere, is advocating the practice of what he calls ‘peace journalism’. He said, media practitioners should always make it a point to ensure that everything they do is geared towards enhancing national cohesion, harmony and peace. Ambassador Amihere stated this when he took his turn in Lectures marking 80 years of GBC under the topic "Media, A Vital Tool For National Cohesion And Harmony." The presentation is the climax of a series of lectures marking the anniversary. He recounted the role of the media in the Rwandan genocide and said current trends in Ghana might just be a signpost that if care is not taken, the country can explode. GBC
