Pragmatic Leadership Is A Must To Control Public Expenditure - Minority

The Minority Caucus in Parliament says the supplementary estimate of GH¢865 million being sought by government will further worsen the woes of the country.

It says what the country needs is pragmatic leadership to control public expenditure. 

Speaking to the media after the reading of the mid-year budget, a Member of the Group and Ranking Member on the Finance Committee, Dr Anthony Akoto Osei said projections for a critical area like the rebound of the cedi is early yet to make concrete projections. 

He said the challenges of the country remain unchanged.
