Thousand to be employed under Youth Employment Agency The Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Haruna Iddrisu, says about hundred thousand youth should expect to have jobs under the new Youth Employment Agency. Apart from that, a huge number will receive skills training and become self-employed under the National Vocation Training Institute. The Minister gave the assurance that a repetition of past anomalies in the GYEEDA programme will be avoided as this time around strict sanctions will be meted out to those who flout laws governing the programme. Mr. Iddrisu made these remarks when he inaugurated a nine member committee for the Youth Employment Agency in Accra. GBC
