National Ambulance Service debunks recruitment claims Management of the National Ambulance Service (NAS), has described as false, claims that it has commenced the recruitment of people to be trained as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and drivers. A statement signed by the Head of Public Relations of the service, Dan Osman Mwin, says there is no such action by the Service and no advertisement has been authorised to that effect. It therefore advises the public to refuse to pay any amount of money to any individual who would claim to be a staff of NAS or authorized by NAS to sell any recruitment forms on its behalf. The public is also advised to report anyone found culpable to the Police and the NAS Headquarters opposite the new courts complex near the Cocoa Affairs Courts and adjacent to the Greater Accra Regional Offices of the Ministry of Agriculture or through the Public Relations Unit of NAS on mobile numbers 0244732876/0203631350/0261864791 for the appropriate action to be taken.
