Prof Dodoo Apologises To Parliament For Comments On Ebola The Director of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Advocacy and Training in Pharmacovigilance in Ghana, Professor Alex Dodoo, has rendered an unqualified apology to Parliament for his comments to the effect that the handling of the news of an Ebola vaccine trial in Ghana by Members of Parliament was clothed with ignorance. He made the apology through his lawyer, Yoni Kulendi, as the two appeared before the Privileges Committee of Parliament today. The Committee's invitation of the academic was at the instance of the Speaker Edward Doe Adjaho after the Majority Leader, Alban Bagbin, had drawn the attention of the House to the pronouncements of the Professor which he deemed as being in contempt of the House.
