KKD Case: Rape victim to withdraw case from law court

Following the application by the alleged rape victim Ewureffe Orleans Thompson to withdraw the case against Kwesi Kyei Darkwa, alias KKD, a Legal Practitioner and President of the Legal Advocacy Foundation, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw says it is not in her capacity to say the case should be withdrawn from the law court.

Speaking on our Current Affairs Programme, Behind the News, he emphasised that this is a criminal case against the State and not just the individual.
